Minister of Planning: Monorail, water treatment projects in Egypt to receive USD 500 mn in green bond funding

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the "Development Initiative" was launched last September in coordination and fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of State for Information and a number of other ministries, pointing out that the preparation for launching a specialized training program for media cadres and bodies in coordination with the United Nations Development Program. Khaled Batal, Iraqi Minister of Planning: "We seek to benefit from Egypt's experience in the field of housing"

Dr. Khaled Batal, Minister of Planning and Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq, said that Iraq seeks to benefit from the Egyptian experience in several areas, including infrastructure projects, social housing, planning, capacity building, electricity, health and medicine. Batal added that Iraq is also seeking to benefit from the Egyptian experience in enhancing human resources in order to raise the skills of Iraqi youth and qualify them for the labor market, and also to launch databases, which are a pivotal factor for development plans, according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation on Friday.
