Housing Ministry to Deliver Residential Plots in West Cairo

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar has stated that the 6th of October City Development Authority will start handing over the most distinguished residential plots in the ninth district of the urban area,. El Gazzar further elaborated, in a recent ministerial statement, that the delivery date will start from October 10 until June 14, 2021. It is worth noting that New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will offer 3,098 housing plots across 11 new cities, ranging between 209 and 287 square meters, through a land lottery system from September 15 to October 15.

Egypt is moving towards green economy projects to achieve sustainable development goals

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers published a report that included infographics highlighting the state’s trend towards green economy projects, in order to preserve the environment and the health of citizens. Egypt targets EGP 136.4 bln investments in urban development during 2020/21

A ministerial report clarified that the urban development sector’s share in Egypt’s gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices is expected to reach about EGP 706 billion during 2020/2021 Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala El-Said announced that the government targets to inject about EGP 136.4 billion, representing 18.5 percent of the country’s total investment plan for FY2020/2021, in the urban development sector. Japan's ambassador in Cairo visits New Alamein city

Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Masaki Noke paid a field visit to New Alamein city, where he inspected various projects being implemented there. Masaki was received by Osama Abdel Ghani, head of the new Alamein City Development Authority, Captain Mohamed Rashwan, a former international "Judo" player, and other officials. The Restoration of the Archeological Dome Building in Port Said at A Cost of EGP300 million

The Ministry of Antiquities, in coordination with the Arab Contractors Company, began the restoration and development of the archeological dome building of the Suez Canal Authority in Port Said to convert it into a tourist attraction and the implementation of an advanced pilotage tower at a cost of 300 million pounds from the budget of the Suez Canal Authority. An official in the Antiquities Authority confirmed that the project is scheduled to take two years due to the accuracy required in dealing with archaeological buildings, and in parallel with the restoration work, an administrative building for the maritime traffic services of the Suez Canal in Port Said will be constructed as an alternative to the current building it occupies. The dome building is the first architectural building to be built on the canal by the direct decree of Khedive Abbas Helmy II in 1890.
